      I like the way you think! As I see it, magic is a word we use to describe things we can’t explain yet. So, the things I do in my science outreach look really cool and could be hard to understand if it wasn’t for me explaining the science behind them, so in a way it does seem kind of magical. But no, I’m not an actual magician, although some of my friends have taught me a few sleight of hand tricks, so maybe one day I will work on that 🙂

      My favourite thing to do for outreach is to burst balloons by focussing laser light onto them – I have such a bad poker face though, I always wince and jump when the balloon bursts. Every.Single.Time.
