I think being famous could cause a lot of problems – it would be hard to walk down the street or ride the train without people stopping you and wanting to speak and get photos. That could get annoying!

But there’d definitely be lots of fun things about being famous – I love the buzz of being backstage or behind-the-scenes on TV, for example, and it would be great to have the opportunity to share my ideas with lots of people. Plus, it would be nice to earn the money that some famous people do!

So I’m not exactly trying or aiming to be famous. But if it were to ever happen – I’m sure it could be fun, for a little while at least. I think I’ll prefer to have a private life though!

I’m not sure, really. I’ve done an ‘ask me anything’ on the website imgur.com before now, and that was seen by thousands of people and I answered questions for about 8 hours straight for it. It was pretty overwhelming! I don’t know what it would be like to have that kind of attention every day. I think I’d prefer if the work I did was what got famous, rather than myself.

I enjoy performing in front of an audience, or talking to a large group of people, but like Aaron, I’m not sure I would like to be too famous – imagine going into MacDonalds and everyone whispering behind you “I think that’s Keith, the famous scientist, lets take a photo of him eating a cheeseburger – he might dribble ketchup down his chin….”
