I would encourage anyone who is keen on science, and is enthusiastic and curious about the world, to do this kind of work. I think it’s possibly the most fun job that there is!
However, not everybody likes to work independently – some people like to turn up to work and be told what to do. Science isn’t like that – you have to decide for yourself what you will do each day, so I wouldn’t recommend this job to every person.
