I always just followed the things I love – in my case this is science and creativity. My job allows me to combine the two – I get to be creative with science!
When I was at school I didn’t know the exact type of job I wanted to do. Even when I was at university I didn’t. But as I was coming to the end of uni I realised the sort of things I enjoyed and looked for a job where I could put them to use…and here I am.

Natalie Garrett answered on 19 Nov 2015:
I’ve always been interested in the world around me, taking things apart to see how they worked as a kid. As I grew up and learned more about science, it was clear to me that nothing else but science would be as satisfying as a career for me. My particular job is great because I get to combine physics, chemistry and biology (which I find to be very interesting) in a way that will let me help people. I’m very motivated by making a positive difference to the world, you see. So that is why I chose to do this!
