      Short Answer:
      About £200.
Each panel will make around £35 worth of electricity per year so they will pay for themselves after about six years (*check out my long answer for why this is an underestimate).

      Long Answer (showing working):
At the moment the lowest price for most solar panels in Europe is around €0.50 per Watt. The panels we are installing now are about 300W so the price would be €150.
That’s the price when they come into Europe. Allowing for the cost of getting them to where they are installed, and the profit that an installer has to make the price at point of installation is probably closer to €250 so about £200.

Most people looking to install on their house would need around 10-12 panels. When you add the other parts of the system, and the installation costs you would probably be paying £4000-5000 in total. About the same as a cheap car.
