It depends what age you are asking about. I loved Primary school, I didn’t really like the first two years of high school, but once I was doing the subjects I enjoyed then I really enjoyed school.
In fact when I went to University when I left school (University is bascially just a higher level of school..). I stayed as long as I could because I really enjoyed it.
Overall, yes. But between the ages of 4 and 18, there were lots of ups and downs.
I was always quite good as maths, science and English – and I liked being challenged and pushed in these subjects. When I got older I discovered I really liked drama, too.
I was never good at doing my homework on time so I hated the Sunday night feeling of approaching deadlines.
I got on well with most of my teachers but liked some more than others (like everyone!). I really like the ones that really challenged me and pushed me to come up with new ideas. I appreciate it was hard for a lot of my teachers though, with classes full of 30+ students, some of who really liked causing as much disruption as possible – they have lots of different needs to balance!
Sometimes I did, sometimes I didn’t. I’ve been to a total of 5 different schools – I moved between schools for many different reasons, including that one got shut down, one ended up being too expensive, and I didn’t fit in well at another. Some of the schools I went to were not very challenging for me and I got bored easily. Other schools I went to were not very much fun and were very strict. The last school I went to was my favourite and I made some really excellent friends there.
